- Is to make money, without money, no media can be made.
'Classical Hollywood narrative' refers to several characteristics that typified film making ideology at the time.
- Emphasis of spacial continuity - the audience always knows where they are at any time
- Emphasis on temporal continuity - the audience always knows in what the order have transpired, and any flashbacks and so fourth will be clearly signposted.
