Multimodality - where a media product communicates with the audiences in various different ways (using text and images)
Hyperlink - Something that takes you beyond the link you were on
Hypermodality - Something that is beyond multimodality (or itself)
'Above the fold' - where everything important needs to be on the screen

Definitions 
Logo - graphic mark, emblem or symbol used to aid and promote public identification and recognition. 
Banner Ads - is a form of online advertising delivered by an ad server. This form of online advertising entails embedding an advertisement into a web page. It is intended to attract traffic to a website by linking to the website of the advertiser
Footer - The bottom section of a webpage is also known as a footer. This area typically contains the name of the company or organisation that publishes the website, along with relevant copyright information. 
Main navigation/menu bar - The hyperlinks
Social media icons - hypermodality in exploring a person's social media through a hyperlink
